2022 Season

Kick on Events have had a great season this year, running four events in the central belt of Scotland. The team kicked off the season in April at Forgandenny before a swift turnaround for our first International at the prestigious Floors Castle. In June we headed to Hopetoun which marked our third event, unfortunately we had to cancel Forgandenny (2) which meant we rounded up the  season back at Hopetoun in August for our final event.

All events were extremely well supported with full entries at all venues, it was fantastic to have a strong field of competition at each event with competitors travelling from all over the UK. Each event had a range of classes from BE80 – Intermediate with Floors running a CCI2*S & CCI3*S which was a fantastic addition to the schedules. It was great to have competitors of all levels from grassroots to professional and Olympic medallists competing all in the same day!

These events would not be possible without our fantastic, hard working committee who work behind the scenes to ensure the event will run smoothly. All committee members work full time and are volunteers who spend time organising in the spare time. Volunteers also play a huge part in running the events and take on roles such as dressage stewarding, car parking, SJ/XC collecting ring, jump judging, pole picking, the list goes on! It really does take an army to make sure each event runs successfully.

Kick on Events have kindly been supported by generous sponsors who have come onboard for each event. It was great to continue relationships from previous years and welcome new companies to the team for the 2022 season – thank you!

We are currently rounding up the 2022 season before we begin planning for next year. Thank you to everyone who has supported Kick on Events this year; competitors, volunteers, sponsors, trade stands, spectators, to name a few!

See you in 2023!
